burj khalifa

art direction

the tallest building in the world, wrapped in the campaign and lit for the fountain crowd.

a takeover of the burj is not a screen, it is a facade eight hundred metres tall seen from a mile away and from the fountain rail at its foot. the same frame has to hold at both, which rules out anything that depends on detail.

so the work is pattern at architectural scale: flat colour blocks and motifs big enough to read across the water, cut to the rhythm of the fountains rather than to a soundtrack nobody standing there can hear.
